After purchasing this nearly 100-year-old Richmond cottage, the homeowner wanted to update the home to better suit her lifestyle without sacrificing its historic charm or reducing valuable garden space. Working within a limited footprint, the renovation included thoughtful reconfiguration of the existing floor plan and a carefully designed addition of just 90 square feet. The result is a home with improved functionality, increased natural light, and spaces tailored to everyday living, all while preserving the scale and character of the original cottage. This project was featured in R•Home Magazine's July/August 2026 issue on page 34.
